I met this guy, a marine, about 14 years ago. I was hanging out with friends and we met at a fair. He took my number, and we talked about 3 times a week for several weeks. All the sudden he stopped calling. I found out later that one of my friends ran into him shortly after that. He said he had lost my number and he really wanted to call me, and did she have my number. She said no, and never thought to give him her number. So that he and I could make contact again. I never had his number since he was on the marine base, and using a pay phone every time, (cell phones were pretty new back then). I never got to talk to him again. And I have thought about him ever since. Should I try to some how find him? How do I find him? All I have is his name and where he was stationed at the time, and that he was from Chicago or Boston, or somewhere back east….. not much to go on. I did try to find him by calling numbers I got from 411. Would he think I was crazy for contacting him after so long?
no he would think your interested in him, which is a good thing… so yeah try searching his name in phone book or something, maybe he has a phone number. uhm also maybe go to where hes stationed at and try and find him… that wont creep him out. trust me. itll make him think you really care. really try that… good luck
